Goodbye Dace

Dear Dace,

I am sorry I could not be here to meet you. I had hoped I would have time enough to say goodbye in person.

It appears Grimm and I arrived too early with nowhere to go to shelter from the rising sun. Don’t feel bad for me. I’m happy I get to see the sun rise one final time.

I don’t know what to say other than I am now at peace and ready to embrace my loved ones on the other side. I wanted to tell your mum what an amazing man she raised but as we have not had the chance to meet, I’ll let her tell me about the wonderful smart boy  man you are and undoubtedly will continue to be.

 

Keep doing what you do and always be true to yourself.
